The iControl Motion Sensor is an infrared based device that detects motion in open areas in interior settings. The iControl Motion Sensor detects movement within a specific area by sensing the infrared energy emitted from a body as it moves across the sensor's field of view. When this motion is detected, the sensor transmits an alarm signal to the iControl box and then it appears as an alarm on your iControl web page.

It can monitor an area approximately 35' long by 40' wide and 7.5' high or about 1200 square feet. It is particularly useful in rooms with multiple windows that would require multiple Door/Window Sensors. The iControl Motion Sensor can also serve as a backup to iControl Door/Window Sensors.
