The
My iControl box enables you to use a variety of devices to remotely monitor,
control, and manage the security, safety and comfort systems used in a
home or business setting. With one My iControl box you can control all
the devices for a particular premises.
The My iControl box communicates with the devices throughout the premises
checking on their status, receiving data when a sensor is activated for
example. The My iControl box supports radio frequency (RF) and power line
(PL) devices.
You can even have more than one My iControl box that you manage. You can
have one at your home, another at your shop out back, one at your office
or business and yet another at your elderly parents home. Because of the
My iControl online service is web based, you can manage all of them from
one My iControl web page. You can quickly access each box to see what
is going on.
You install My iControl box in minutes. Simply plug in supplied cable
from you My iControl box to an available port on your router. Note, broadband
services (either Cable or DSL) is required. Then, plug in the power supply.
It also has dial up access and you can connect a phone wire to an active
phone jack to provide back up access if your broadband ever goes out.
You're ready to start installing your devices and using your my iControl
web page. The My iControl box is connected to your router for broadband
connectivity and an electrical outlet for power.
